Tara DeLuco, M.S. is a 5th year Ph.D. student studying clinical psychology at Alliant International University California School of Professional Psychology- Los Angeles, and a practicing certified school psychologist in the state of California. Tara is a psychological assistant for CARE-LA, where she provides therapy and psychological assessments for children, teens, adults, and families. Her current interests include anxiety, OCD, and mental health concerns related to physical health conditions.


Tara has had a successful career as a school psychologist for the past four years. She received her Master of Science degree from the University of Hartford. During her career she has worked in a wide range of school settings targeted to children with autism and emotional disturbance. She has extensive experience in psychoeducational assessment with skills in cognitive, academic, and social-emotional testing, as well as experience in individual, group, and family therapy.

Tara has received supervised training as a practicum student at Children’s Hospital Orange County and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, specializing in neuropsychological assessment for medically fragile children. 


Tara has conducted several invited guest lectures at hospitals and colleges on the keys to collaboration of school and clinical psychology. Tara is a member of the American Psychological Association, National Association of School Psychologists, and California Association of School Psychologists.
