Jordan Long, M.S. is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist under the supervision of Dr. Lauren Stutman (#PSY26768). She completed her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. At USC, Jordan fulfilled her traineeship at Cancer Support Community, Pasadena where she counseled clients in individual and group settings.
Jordan has years of experience working with children and adolescents as a Cognitive Trainer, Psychological Assistant, Early Child Education Specialist, and volunteer at Los Angeles-based pediatric organizations. She has worked with children and adolescents who have ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, dyscalculia, Down Syndrome, memory issues, learning difficulties, and speech and auditory problems. Jordan enjoys working with clients impacted by anxiety, physical illness, depression, and trauma among other issues.
Due to her own hardships with generalized anxiety and panic disorder, Jordan is passionate about helping clients learn about the importance of the mind-body connection. She considers all facets of a client’s identity in her work while approaching each individual with empathy and respect. Jordan believes in the power of collaboration in the therapy room and integrates Mindfulness, CBT, and present-focused interventions into her practice.
