Dr. Goodman obtained her PhD in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Goodman is also board-certified in HRV Biofeedback and completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Waimānalo Health Center on Oahu where she specialized in delivering integrated psychological care to children and adults. Dr. Goodman ardently believes in the mind-body connection, emphasizing a holistic approach to healing that integrates physical, emotional, and relational factors. 

Dr. Goodman takes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of disciplines based on the client’s needs. In every therapeutic approach, Dr. Goodman maintains a compassionate and empathic demeanor in combination with a gentle push, encouraging clients to delve deeper into their challenges, fostering greater insight and bolstering resilience.

At the core of Dr. Goodman’s therapeutic approach is the belief that children, adolescents, and parents can harness the power of insight to better understand themselves and others. By doing so, they not only enhance their personal well-being but also strengthen familial and peer relationships.
