Katherine "Katie" Goodman, MA, is a doctoral candidate completing her PhD in Clinical Health Psychology. Her primary research focus is on the mind-body connection, specifically how to utilize this connection to improve mental health, physical health, relationships, and overall well-being. 

To do so, Katie utilizes a combination of therapeutic interventions such as Biofeedback, Mindfulness, and relaxation training to improve awareness and regulation of thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. As one’s ability to regulate improves, further exploration of underlying causes is possible. 


Katie applies this theoretical framework to her work with children and adults presenting with a variety of mental and physical illnesses. What is unique to her approach is her nonjudgmental and receptive nature, always approaching her work with curiosity and enthusiasm to learn.
