Jessica Haratounian is a 1st-year doctoral student at Alliant International University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from California State University, Northridge in 2021. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a pediatric referral coordinator at a non-profit organization. She aspires to integrate her public health skills and knowledge in the mental health field to promote awareness and behavior change for clients. 


She believes in walking with clients on their journey of growth by creating an empathetic, non-judgmental, and collaborative space. She is passionate about working with diverse children, adolescents, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, major life adjustments, grief, and relationship issues. In providing an intentional and supportive safe place, Jessica’s objectives include using a strength-based approach and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to create goals and effective coping skills to help clients navigate difficult emotions and prepare them for various challenges.
