Danielle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she also served as a lab manager in the Self and Social Identity Lab. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles and is currently practicing under the supervision of Dr. Erin Cantwell, PhD (PSY33370).
Danielle has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, with a particular passion for supporting children and families. She has treated a range of concerns including depression, generalized anxiety, specific phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), body-focused repetitive behaviors, and ADHD. A committed LGBTQIA+ ally, Danielle has practiced in multiple queer-affirmative settings.
Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and curious. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic approaches to help clients understand both present-day patterns and deeper emotional experiences. Danielle is also trained in Habit Reversal Training (HRT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). As a certified yoga instructor, she incorporates mindfulness and body-based practices, teaching clients tangible tools for grounding and self-regulation.
Above all, Danielle strives to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel deeply seen and empowered to grow.
