Leah received her degree in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University, chosen for its holistic view of medicine, and completed internships in Los Angeles at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital. Leah spent 18 years at UCLA supporting the inpatient and PHP settings of care for children and adolescents.

Her advanced training continued in CBT, mindfulness, and DBT including foundational training with behavioral tech as well as foundations of exposure therapies and mastery of anxiety and panic for adolescents. All these were critically supportive tools in her specialty in the treatment of eating disorders. During this time, Leah served in dual roles as an occupational therapist, providing both individual and group daily programming, and as coordinator of admissions, helping families to navigate the complex world of accessing care through insurance and hospital systems, particularly in a moment of acute crisis.

Leah pursued her MBA at Redlands University to continue to support the access of patient care which led her to the role of clinical team lead and program director in a community based setting for PHP and IOP level of care.  She has advanced training in Neurofeedback and Somatic Experiencing and is entering her final year of training to become an SEP, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
