Sarah is a second-year doctoral student at the California School of Professional Psychology. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She brings a strong academic background and a wealth of practical experience to her role.

Sarah’s career in mental health began at UCLA, where she contributed to research on communication in marriages at the Marriage and Intimate Relationships Lab. She then gained hands-on experience as a behavioral health technician at an inpatient psychiatric hospital, where she led groups and provided crisis stabilization for individuals dealing with a range of difficulties, including suicidality, substance use, and bipolar disorder.

Sarah has also worked as a mental health counselor at both a high school and an elementary school, where she collaborated closely with children, teachers, and families to address and overcome relational, behavioral, and emotional challenges. Her substantial experience has equipped her with an understanding of the unique mental health needs of children and adolescents.

Sarah is committed to helping teens, children, and families by co-leading group therapy and providing individual sessions. She approaches each client with empathy and authenticity, working to help them break free from undesirable patterns while simultaneously expanding their existing positive attributes. Sarah is passionate about continuing her work with families and teens, guiding them to overcome challenges so they may reach their fullest potential. Supervision is provided by Dr. Erin Cantwell, PhD.
