CARE - CHILD ANXIETY REDUCTION EXPERTS
Mindful-faces started off as an exercise given to our younger patients to practice mindfulness by finding faces in every-day objects. Since no suffering occurs when you are truly rooted in the here-and-now, this exercise is meant to redirect the mind with a creative, treasure hunt-like search while alleviating anxiety and allowing the present moment to come to the forefront of the child/adolescent's thoughts. Mindful-faces has become so popular with our patients that we opened an Instagram page just to house all of the submissions.
