DR. SHIRIN SETAREHSHENAS, PsyD, LMFT

Dr. Setarehshenas is a Board Certified licensed Clinican who provides therapy services to children, adolescents, and individuals. Passionate about her profession as a clinician, Dr. Setarehshenas treats individuals who are facing everyday life stressors and individuals who struggle with various mental health concerns. 

 

Dr. Setarehshenas received a Doctorate degree in Psychology from California Southern University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with marriage and family emphasis and child speciality from Antioch University. She is a Board-Certified Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is bilingual in Farsi and Hebrew.

 

Dr. Setarehshenas has years of experience working as a clinician and a school therapist, providing evaluations, participating in IEP’s, and treating patients with social-emotional, behavioral, attentional, developmental, and cognitive challenges. She has extensive expertise treating individuals diagnosed with autism, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, anxiety, conduct disorder, and other pervasive developmental disorders. She has worked in different professional settings treating her patients. Her clinical approach is humanistic and patient and family-centered. She focuses on providing psycho-education to her patients and utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in treating her patients.
