Dr. Shirin Setarehshenas, Psy.D, LMFT, is a board-certified Marriage and Family Therapist. Her focus is primarily with children, adolescents, and families.
Dr. Setarehshenas received a Doctorate degree in Psychology from California Southern University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University with child speciality. She is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Dr Shirin is bilingual in Farsi and Hebrew.
Passionate about her work, Dr. Shirin has treated the pediatric population, working with children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as families, with various psychological challenges, including and not limited to: ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, pica, PTSD, and learning and behavioral difficulties.
Dr. Setarehshenas has years of experience working as a therapist, providing evaluations, participating in IEP’s, and treating patients with social-emotional, behavioral, attentional, developmental, and cognitive challenges. She enjoys working within a multidisciplinary team to assist and treat her patients.
