Danielle Ballard is a second-year doctoral student at the California School of Professional Psychology. She has been working with clients at CARE-LA for 2 years and is currently supervised by Dr. Erin Cantwell. 


Danielle has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Habit Reversal Training (HRT), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). She is a co-coordinator of both of our Social Skills Groups for ages 7-9 and 10-12  and the Teen LGBTQIA+ Group. She works with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, and other related challenges. 


She is a 200hr certified Yoga Instructor and uses her background in mindfulness-based practices to support both her adolescent and adult clients. Her goal is to help individuals cultivate this practice within their own lives to achieve and maintain long-term mental well-being. She is passionate about working with children and their families to achieve their goals.
