Danielle Ballard is a 1st year doctoral student at Alliant International University. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UCSB in 2016 and worked as a Research Manager for the psychology department in the “Self and Social Identity Lab” studying discrimination and perceived stigma at the university after graduation.
She is also a 200hr certified Yoga Instructor and has been teaching yoga through the pandemic as a way to give back to the community. Danielle’s interests lie within the treatment of OCD, BD and anxiety disorders. Her ultimate goal is to pair her passion for yoga with her passion for psychology and use mindfulness practices to help benefit her patients lives.
